Rise Interactive (http://www.riseinteractive.com), a rapidly growing full service interactive advertising agency, is looking to hire a Senior Project Manager to support the Analytics and Customer Experience teams. We are seeking a detail-oriented, versatile, highly motivated and creative individual that will provide expertise throughout the entire software development process, and that is excited about getting involved in an entrepreneurial company with an expanding Fortune 500 client base.

 


Summary and Scope

The Senior Project Manager will have superior organizational and project management skills as s/he will be expected to manage the deliverables and scope of major website development projects. In this role, you will be working directly with clients as well as cross-agency teams, including creative, development, QA, SEO, and analytics departments. This person must possess a service-oriented, positive attitude towards clients and colleagues, coupled with an appreciation of business realities and achieving deadlines.

Responsibilities
  • Drive all aspects of project planning, including scope, timing, budget, communication, requirements, and risks.
  • Proven experience leading cross-channel teams through successful execution of website development projects, adhering to agency process and ensuring on time, on budget delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Financial management of large scale projects, tracking all budget-related information, including billable hours and project related expenses
  • Serve as trusted voice of the client by assimilating business objectives into the development of creative strategies and innovative digital solutions.
  • Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and supervisory skills
  • Very detailed oriented to ensure all work is client-ready
  • Create visibility & transparency into the progress of the project at multiple stakeholder levels on a regular basis
  • Anticipate client questions and provide thought out answers/solutions
  • Identify and employ lessons learned from previous experience to ensure delivery of each subsequent project is more successful than the last
  • Ability to understand complex ideas/problems and articulate to clients
  • Willing to go above and beyond the call of duty to delight the client and deliver excellent service
  • Able to sell and present work in conjunction with Sales and Marketing team
  • Exceptional problem-resolution skills including the ability to think creatively in the development of ideas/solutions that will contribute value in a dynamic, client-centered environment
  • Help to champion the role of project management within the agency
  • Mentor more junior members of the project management team
Required Skills
 
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience in an interactive/digital agency environment is required
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Exceptional relationship building, presentation, and communication skills
  • High competency level in project planning and tracking tools
  • Strategic thinker with proven consulting skills
  • Extremely ambitious and hardworking
  • Results driven and detailed oriented
  • Self-motivated with a bias towards process improvement
  • Experience using Jira, Smartsheet, Google Drive, or other similar tools for workflow and reporting
  • Experience working with offshore teams
  • PMP certification strongly preferred
