What are we looking for?

Cision is looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented, Marketing Project Manager to join our marketing team. The Project Manager will manage project deliverables and communication across content, demand generation, client advocacy, and marketing operations. This person will forge partnerships with cross functional leadership to establish top-down business plans, and have oversight of the PMO, ensuring successful execution of strategies to realize business benefits, measured by established success metrics.

The Job:

• Partner cross-functionally with senior leaders to establish documented strategic Business Plans


• Partner cross-functionally with execution leaders to enable project, program and portfolio management


• Establish reporting standards for key projects and programs. Deliverables include cross-referenced Roadmaps informed by Business Plans, and Weekly Dashboards.


• Provide guidance to the PMO office by bringing them together regularly to maintain alignment and continuous improvement to the project management practice.


• Help establish prioritization of projects based on cost versus impact. 


• Represent PMO in senior leadership meetings, and ensure transparency in execution, risks and challenges are being addressed.


• Enhance transparency, predictability and consistency in delivery of committed plans.


• Ownership for establishing appropriate review cadence for the initiative portfolio


• Champion and implement process improvement to ensure that initiatives are implemented with increased success rates (time, cost and quality)


• Be a strong influencer across silos, acting as a change agent

You Have:

• 4-8 years of experience in project management capacity, specifically in the marketing field


• Strong project management skills


• Exceptional attention to detail


• Highly organized


• Excellent problem solving skills


• Proven track record of meeting deadlines


• A self-motivated individual; a good team player


• Takes accountability and ownership of his/her own work


• Knowledge of project management software systems


• Analytics background
