About SpotHero

SpotHero is an on-demand parking app that helps drivers find parking, compare discounted rates & book a reserved spot with convenient garages, lots & valets.

We grew up at TechNexus, 1871 and Techstars. We’re backed by world-class venture capital firms. As we prepare to launch across the country, we’re looking for an A+ SEO expert to own all aspects of our search engine optimization, app store optimization and analytics strategy. You’ll own our entire SEO channel with full support from product, marketing and the entire management team.

What You'll Do

• Everything search engine optimization, app store optimization & analytics

• Audit our web properties & recommend improvements to internal stakeholders

• Perform industry analysis to identify opportunities for improvement

• Recommend, prioritize, implement & measure SEO changes

• Build & maintain ongoing sitewide & city-by-city reports

• Research, qualify, contact & secure strategic link building opportunities

• Analyze differences in user behavior across web, mobile and tablet devices

• Own content strategy & editorial process for content on SpotHero’s web properties

• Inform our social, PR, partnership, content, and SEM efforts on your findings

• Collaborate with our product & marketing team to optimize our website

• Own all offsite, onsite & local SEO

• You will be accountable for triple digit annual revenue growth from organic search in both new and existing markets

• We are a startup, which means this is a baseline and you’ll have the opportunity to take this role in any direction you see fit

What You’ll Need

• 3 to 5+ years of SEO experience across multiple sites with industry leading results

• Proven results optimizing a websites with 10,000s of pages in a competitive industry

• Experience both making strategic recommendations & implementing them

• Working knowledge of HTM and basic CSS

• Experience with SEO best practices for Wordpress

• In-depth experience with leading web analytics & SEO tools

• Up-to-date knowledge on SEO trends, best practices & Matt Cutts 30 day challenges

• Strong communication skills

• Desire to learn, grow a startup & become an SEO all-star

• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in quantitative or writing related field

• Communicator, attentive to detail, analytical & ability to follow-through
