We are a venture-backed company focused on growth. The Senior Sourcing Specialist will work with our product and operations departments to manage the sourcing of materials, components, suppliers and services to meet our changing levels of demand.

Primary responsibilities will include:

• Sourcing — Identify and evaluate new suppliers for new and existing products
• 100% in stock — Establish supply schedules and communicate requirements to sourcing and purchasing teams. Ensure all essential supplies are available when needed to control costs and minimize cases of over/under stock.
• Cost management — Focus on making sure we are buying products at the appropriate cost and volume during the lifecycle of the product.
• Supplier Performance — Establish metrics to assess factors such as quality, cost and delivery performance. Collaborate with product and operations teams to find ways of improving efficiency and reducing costs.
• Communication — Develop effective internal and external communication practices to ensure quick response time when market conditions change.
• Relationships — Build long term vendor relationships that offer quality, value, a willingness to collaborate and the flexibility to meet changing supply requirements.

We’re looking for someone that has been through the process of setting up a supply chain management process at a company from the ground up. You are driven, eager, and able to use your analytical and planning skills to keep our supply chain running efficiently. You value collaboration and enjoy building mutually beneficial relationships with vendors. You’re also comfortable with numbers and can draw insights from metrics to streamline our sourcing process.

Ideal candidate will possess:

• 4 year degree in business, finance, industrial engineering, supply chain management or similar concentration
• At least 5 years experience in the field of sourcing / purchasing / supply chain management
• Experience working with ERP solutions
• Experience managing a physical inventory
