Senior Supply Chain Specialist

About the Role
The Supply Chain Specialist will work with our product and operations departments to manage the sourcing of materials, components, suppliers and services to meet our changing levels of demand.
Primary responsibilities will include:
- Sourcing — Identify and evaluate new suppliers for new and existing products.
- 100% in stock — Establish supply schedules and communicate requirements to sourcing and purchasing teams. Ensure all essential supplies are available when needed to control costs and minimize cases of over/under stock.
- Cost management — Focus on making sure we are buying products at the appropriate cost and volume during the lifecycle of the product.
- Supplier Performance — Establish metrics to assess factors such as quality, cost and delivery performance. Collaborate with product and operations teams to find ways of improving efficiency and reducing costs.
- Communication — Develop effective internal and external communication practices to ensure quick response time when market conditions change.
- Relationships — Build long term vendor relationships that offer quality, value, a willingness to collaborate and the flexibility to meet changing supply requirements.

Experience and Skills
- 4 year degree in business, finance, industrial engineering, supply chain management or similar concentration
- At least 5 years experience in the field of sourcing / purchasing / supply chain management
- Experience working with ERP solutions
- Experience managing a physical inventory
