Due to the exciting growth potential of this market we seek to hire a highly motivated, collaborative and disciplined SMB Account Executive based in Chicago. Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, the SMB AE will be responsible for selling Caremerge’s award-winning care coordination solution to small and mid-size senior care organizations (5-10 facilities). This position will be responsible for creating territory and account plans, delivering sales presentations, understanding prospect's critical business issues, advancing qualified opportunities through the pipeline and negotiating and closing business. The ideal candidate will have an inclusive and collaborative work style as strong integration with Lead Qualification and Client Experience Teams will be necessary to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and manage the assigned sales territory

- Manage new business sales cycle from qualified leads to close

-Lead prospect requirements gathering sessions and link to system strengths

- Provide analytical/problem solving solutions for Caremerge and prospects

- Deliver web based sales meetings

- Document all prospect interactions, critical business issues and record progress through SalesForce.com

- Capture all relevant market feedback in Salesforce.com and share with Caremerge executives

- Maintain up-to-date and accurate sales pipeline and forecasts

- Maintain an active individual pipeline 3X quota at all times

- Meet monthly sales meeting activity requirements

- Help develop and refine sales approach to increase conversion rates

- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Caremerge’s products, relevant industry trends, and competitive dynamics

- Attend networking events and industry conferences

- Collaborate with Lead Qualification and Client Experience Teams to increase prospect and client satisfaction

- Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly and annual sales quotas

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree from a recognized academic institution

- 3-5 years of successful strategic sales experience in a B2B environment (SaaS preferred)

- Demonstrated track record as a “closer”

- Understanding of Senior Living and Long Term Care

- Experience in developing and executing territory sales strategies

- Demonstrated attention to detail

- Excellent interpersonal, communication and persuasion skills

- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

- Strong requirements gathering, presentation, negotiating and closing skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

- Proficient in using CRM systems (e.g. SalesForce.com)

- Previous experience in selling cloud-based software
