Job Description: Vivid Seats is seeking a smart, creative, and data-driven Social Media Manager to join the team. The successful candidate will build and manage our profile and presence across Google+ and YouTube.

Responsibilities:

  • Create shareable content (written and visual) appropriate for each network to engage our followers and spread our content
  • Listen and engage in relevant social discussion about our company, competitors, and/or industry, both from existing customers and leads and from brand new audiences that don’t yet know us
  • Curate relevant content to reach the company’s ideal customers
  • Set goals for followers, engagement and organic search traffic and revenue for Google+ and YouTube
  • Monitor trends in analytics and social media tools
  • Analyze campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising the Social Media campaigns
  • Increase visibility of social assets to relevant followers and sites
  • Work closely with SEO and content team to optimize presence and ensure visibility across channels

Who we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, advertising, communications, English (or similar)
  • 1-3 years of professional experience managing social channels for a brand or an agency
  • Active and well-rounded personal presence on social media, with a command of each network and their best practices
  • Strong communication skills, both on- and offline, with a command of grammar and spelling
  • Strong content creation skills (written and visual) with the ability to put together content independently and tailor it to different channels and audiences
  • Ability to use both data and intuition to inform decisions
  • Exceptional organizational skills and fanatical attention to detail
  • A love for sports, music, and all live entertainment
  • Experience with managing campaigns on Google+ and YouTube, along with associated analytics and tools (e.g. Google Trends, Google Analytics, Adobe SiteCatalyst, and YouTube Analytics)
  • Experience working in ecommerce is a plus, with a basic understanding of SEO best practices
