What You'll Do:

• Work with the product and platform team in defining rail applications that leverage data from end-customers to create efficiencies and optimization for the rail industry
• Provide rail context and content to the application development teams to ensure adoption in the customer base
• Collaborate with marketing in the product launch process to ensure a focused industry presence and market access
• Proactive identification of rail business challenges and opportunities followed by effective communication up and down the team
• Lead the continual discovery and definition of rail software products that solve complex customer problems
• Think through difficult industry problems, and work intimately with development team and designers to refine and build the products and features you define
• Work with clients, partners, and business teams to understand current rail business challenges and provide opportunities solve for those needs through better software products.
• Work with customers in testing and validating software solutions for the rail industry and inc creating propositions of value to guide commercialization
• Play a key role in building portfolio of Product offerings within a disruptive technology start up

Qualifications:

• BS in Engineering or related discipline
• Product Manager experience or at least 3-5 years in a product management role Ability to see the “big picture” for a software product, and maintain strategic thinking to realize untapped potential while collaborating with the development team on realizing the vision
• Ability to make real-time autonomous decisions when conditions change, based on understanding of the user context, business objectives, and client needs
• Demonstrated record of success in defining strategic product roadmaps as well as inventing and launching successful features
• You enjoy collaborating with developers, UX designers, marketing, clients, and partners to solve big problems for the rail industryStrong analytical, problem-solving, communication and project management skills

Nice-to-have's:

• MBA/MS in Computer Science
• Prior experience in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial start-up environment
