We are looking for a Sr. Technical Project Manager to join our growing team. The leadership of the company has multiple successful exits in the past in payments and healthcare and we are backed by a stellar group of investors committed to the success of the company and every team member that is part of this company.

This is a multi- faceted role with clear expectations and opportunity to work on new and exciting challenges. You will manage our internal software projects to make sure they stay on track and also with with our external customers to understand their business requirements. You will report to the Chief of Product in this role. Our current development platform is Ruby on Rails and we are a SAAS based multi tenancy architecture. Our software development team is growing and includes a local and offshore team.

Additionally, this resource will play a crucial role in the continuous feedback culture we foster internally, building lessons learned from previous projects into our standardized project plan. Your performance will be measured based on your ability to 

·       Work with the development team to manage progress of development projects

·       Document and communicate clear requirements to the development team

·       Co-ordinate the requirements with design, UX and product lead to ensure timely delivery

·       Support the product team with document product requirements in user stories

 

Qualifications:

·     Bachelor’s/ Masters degree.  Focus on Business/Management, Economics, Information Science, Computer Science Software, Computer Engineering, Healthcare Informatics/Information considered a plus

·     2-5 yrs. experience in the healthcare industry primarily with a focus on patient financial management/provider revenue cycle management

·     2-5 yrs. of experience in software development/delivery projects, either utilizing an agile methodology or waterfall methodology

·     Create test plans, test cases and perform testing of features delivered by the development team.

·     Must have Knowledge and experience working with HIPAA and PCI security requirements in communication and dev Op’s

·     Experience working with analytical tools (Excel, Access, SQL, PuTTy, etc.)

·     Must have strong, demonstrable project/client management skills.  With a focus on expectations setting and consistent/poignant communication

·     Strong ability to organize, prioritize, make decisions and work independently

·     Strong planning skills to meet and measure against team and individual

·     Ability to think logically for interpreting, analyzing, and discussing customer needs and industry capability needs

·     Strong people skills, including proficiency in verbal and written communication and conflict situations

·     Strong ability to evaluate technical options and architect solutions

·     Software Coding knowledge not required but preferred 

Ideal Qualifications:

·     Experience working with provider and patient facing healthcare applications like EMR’s (Electronic Medical Records), patient engagement solutions, payment technologies

·     Significant experience in evaluating client needs and translating those needs into formal technical requirements

·     Experience is Agile and Scrum methodologies

·     Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously

·     Masters degree in Healthcare/Business/Technical-oriented discipline 

·     PMP/CAPM Certification
