Account Management at eSpark

As an Account Manager based in our Chicago office, you will be a key member of the Partnership Success team developing relationships and strategies to expand the number of eSparking students within existing partnerships. Expectations

As an Account Manager you will be expected to:

  • Maintain and expand eSpark footprint within assigned clients
  • Develop relationships with existing client Superintendents and their leadership teams
  • Develop a vision for successful district partnerships and manage/align the right eSpark resources to make that vision a reality and best serve client needs
  • Perform rigorous, team-based strategic analysis of key clients, their personnel and needs
  • Travel to client sites in the around the country 2 days a week on average

Qualifications:

  • A passion for education and strong desire to use your skills to change the world.
  • MBA or Masters Degree preferred.
  • Multiple years Strategic Sales, Account Management or other experience building and leveraging relationships with senior leaders.
  • Executive presence and relationship building with senior leaders (school Superintendents and their cabinets)
    • Strong internal and external communicator with excellent interpersonal skills;
    • Excellent orchestration and influencing skills;
    • Strong judgement and instinct with clients; Comfortable having tough and financially focused conversations.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams and complex projects; Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
    • Comfort with a fast-paced environment and changing requirements. Startup experience a plus.
    • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty and ambiguity.
