AVIA’s business model and credibility rests on health systems ability to successfully implement technology at scale. Implementation is both a goal and a process—and one that includes several stakeholder groups across number different functions, both at the health system and within the AVIA teams.

As a result, AVIA often works with several stakeholder groups: The Health System, The Solution Companies, and internal AVIA teams, to collect information, prioritize actions, and develop operational plans that help each party execute on their strategic plans—specifically in support of successfully implementing technology.
Key Responsibilities
  • A successful strategic project coordinator will play a critical role to the success of AVIA’s implementation support efforts by helping communicate and connect the dots across each and all strategic and operational functions at a Health System and within AVIA. They should have strong communication and organization skills that will help them coordinate, communicate, and manage multiple, ongoing, interrelated projects to achieve a specific set of client business goal resources and plans across all stakeholder groups. Other key responsibilities include:
  • Work with the various AVIA project teams to ensure that there is visibility of strategic projects across the wider business, while finding opportunities for other project teams to contribute subject matter expertise to individual strategic projects
  • Create process maps and infrastructure requirements for quick decision making
  • Implement a company-wide approach to running projects – To ensure best practice is used across the company and with clients
  • Ensure that their project’s goals align with the company’s strategic mission and objectives.
  • Ensure that the status of projects is communicated effectively at the with Health Systems Clients at a project management level, Solution Companies at a project lead and executive level and at the AVIA Executive level
Desired Skills and Experience
  • BS/BA Degree
  • 3-5 years’ project management experience (with health system, technical vendor, or in consulting)
  • Preferred experience as project management at a health system, within a consulting company, or with a formal technical implementation of a health care technology.
  • Is comfortable operating with minimal instruction on daily work tasks and a moderate level of instruction on new assignments
  • Demonstrated ability to think broadly and strategically to make connections and see opportunities across multiple industry categories and topics
  • Ability to establish and maintain excellent rapport with clients at all levels, internal and external.
  • Superb problem solving skills and strong interpersonal skills to effectively convey management needs to colleagues and functions throughout the company.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint.
