The Supplier Specialist is responsible for onboarding suppliers to EvedPay, which is the only digital payment solution purpose-built for the event industry. This role is responsible for making outbound calls to event suppliers, including hotels, ground transportation, audio visual, and production companies, as well as meeting planning companies and local suppliers, to convey the value proposition of opening a Merchant Account on EvedPay. This role requires the ability to elegantly persuade and deftly handle objections. The successful candidate will have experience in a telesales role and a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
On average, this role is responsible for making 30-40 outbound calls a day and tracking all activity in Salesforce.com, Eved’s customer relationship management system. On a weekly basis, activity and progress-to-goal will be reviewed on a team and individual basis.
This role currently reports into the Director, Merchant Services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Consistently achieve weekly activity and sales goals (based on number of new merchant accounts opened)· Successfully convey the EvedPay value proposition and be able to describe the benefits versus more traditional forms of payment, including credit cards, check and wire transfer
· Accurately track all activity in Salesforce.com on a daily basis and follow the defined process for escalation as needed

· Bachelor's degree preferred
· Minimum of 1-2 years prior sales experience required
