UrbanBound is currently hiring an Intern for the Supply Chain team. This person will report into the Director of Supply Chain, who manages our partner relationships. The ideal candidate is incredibly detail oriented and meticulous when it comes to their work.

This Intern will be helping support one of UrbanBound’s most important transferee populations, our Summer interns.   This individual will help with the preparation and execution of one of UrbanBound’s busiest periods of the year. This intern will work in conjunction with the Supply Chain and Customer Success teams surrounding those accounts who relocate interns for the summer months.

Responsibilities:

  • Management of communications of relocating employees

  • Management of apartment leases

  • Management of calendars for internal teams pertaining to each customer

  • Research and vetting of Real Estate partners across the United States

 

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Comfortable working at a faster-than-average pace with above average attention to detail.

  • Has a proactive attitude and a team building nature

  • Has strong follow-through on delegated task and assignments

  • Impeccable grammar, writing and speaking skills

  • Experienced in detailed and specialized work

  • Problem solving skills

 

Additional Details

  • The role is unpaid but will be eligible for college credit

  • Average hours are 15 hours per week at our Chicago Loop office.  We are flexible with days and times, but prefer three five hour days

  • This internship is designed to be in office but this person should have the ability to work from home, on their own, if need be or if the work allows for it.
