UrbanBound is currently hiring a Supply Chain Manager for the Business Development Team. This role will be sponsible for researching and vetting new potential suppliers that can provide impeccable service to our users.  The Supply Chain Manager will build strong relationships and build out new processes.

With our online tools, employees plan and organize their entire move while being connected to vendors who offer preferred pricing through our exclusive group buying power. Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for researching and vetting new potential suppliers that can provide impeccable service to our users

  • Builds out Real Estate relationships across the United States

  • Point of contact for day to day operations for leading suppliers in specific categories such as household goods and short term housing

  • Manage complete on boarding process for new suppliers

  • Schedule and execute supplier check-ins and "annual reviews

  • ​Manage supplier’s performance against UrbanBound and client-directed SLAs

  • Schedule and execute supplier check-ins and "annual reviews”

  • Implement new or improved supply chain processes.

  • Document physical supply chain processes, such as workflows, cycle times, position responsibilities, or system flows.

  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Customer Success, Business Development and Sales to identify or qualify new suppliers.

  • Aid in creation of performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of supply chain factors, such as product cost or quality.

  • Acts as internal main point of contact between Relocation Consultants and supply chain

  • Oversees overall  success and conversion for moves

  • Regionalize transportation providers based on routes, coverage and historical success.

  • Enhance procedures or systems to evaluate or “vett” suppliers.

 

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 4+ years  Corporate Relocation and/or logistics Industry Experience required

  • Understanding of Tariffs, Transportation Pricing & Service Models preferred

  • Experience in Real Estate/ Home Sale mortgages required

  • Experience in short term housing preferred

  • International experience preferred

  • Supply chain management experience preferred

  • MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Ability to create internal processes

  • Excellent Communication Skills
