Position Overview
Support Specialists are experts when it comes to technical support related to the Gesture System. A support specialist is responsible for answering all of the “how to” questions from our clients, as well as providing support to our internal teams. This includes receiving requests, problem solving, documenting, communicating, collaborating and ultimately ensuring questions and/or issues are resolved for the end user.
Our support specialists are integral to the success of our company in ensuring our end users are satisfied with our system and have a positive experience in using Gesture’s services.
Responsibilities
· Develop in depth knowledge of Gesture’s system
· Collect and document clear and concise details surrounding client questions or issues
· Communicate technical information precisely and simply to a non-technical audience
· Identify and troubleshoot issues presented and escalate to development as needed
· Work with team members to recognize trends in questions and/or issues to report
· Provide knowledge base articles to assist clients with self-help
Qualifications
· Desire to learn, grow and help our non-profit partners succeed
· Bachelor’s degree preferred
· Effective communication skills both verbal and written
· Team focused and highly organized
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever changing environment
· Proficient with the use of Mac based computers and new technologies
