Job Description

The Talent Activation Strategist contributes to the attainment of customer and SilkRoad business objectives by providing customers and prospects with strategy consulting designed to align SilkRoad technology solutions with their business strategy. Success in the role is evidenced by  productive customer relationships, high customer retention rates, and customer loyalty.

 

Essential Duties:

 

  • Provides strategic solution concepts to help drive increased utilization and key results driving customer awareness and increasing satisfaction.
  • Makes recommendations improving processes, efficiency, practices and introducing new talent market innovations.
  • Develops and maintains extraordinary relationships with customers to ensure their satisfaction/loyalty and retention.
  • Manages and delivers project-oriented and brainstorming sessions with clients on best practices and guiding optimal approaches to configuration and design.
  • Assists Sales, Customer Success and Renewals in the renewal of assigned accounts with favorable terms and conditions.
  • Positions SilkRoad's value proposition as part of our overall business solution, linking solution benefits to key customer business issues.
  • Partners with internal teams to identify customers who need care and support. Partners with Sales and all internal teams to identify and  nurture new opportunities.
  • Utilizes social networks to help promote and enhance customer interactions and lead generation and referrals.
  • Creates initiatives and/or campaigns to achieve company goals and objectives.
Required Skills
  • Ability to identify and recommend strategic solutions to customers' talent management processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, team based environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet strict deadlines.
  • Excellent presentation and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of an organization, including C-level executives.
  • Ability to seamlessly and quickly adapt into a new client environment and culture in order to maximize effectiveness and the client relationship.
  • Ability to develop and achieve professional goals.
  • Demonstrates a strong desire to compete and succeed.
  • Ability to develop new leads and new business opportunities.
  • Ability to quickly form and maintain positive business relationships while handling rejection professionally.
  • Detail oriented with excellent analytical and problem resolution abilities.
  • Proficient with computer software and MS Office applications, including Word, Power Point and Excel.
Required Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree, and/or equivalent education and work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Talent Management and Services/Consulting delivery experience specific to consultative sales, functional consulting, system administrator experience preferred.
  • Previous experience with a value based sales, 'solution selling', target account sales, 'the complex sales' or similar sales methodology preferred.
  • Required experience in HR, particularly in the area of talent management / talent management systems and/or HRIS systems.
  • Project Management experience is strongly preferred.
