Training & Communications Manager, Operations

GrubHub is looking for someone who is an exceptional communicator and has managed communications and training at a leading company. This person should have experience creating and executing a training curriculum, with a focus on developing an effective self-service training model. The right candidate is self-motivated and ready to bring a whatever-it-takes mentality to our fast-paced and ever-changing environment. You will be in charge of building training programs, and working across a multitude of internal and external stakeholders to not only develop training, but enhance the user experience. In addition, you’ll be tasked with developing a communication strategy to keep teams and stakeholders aligned. You’ll need to be ready to dive right in – our staff is always growing and the training never stops. It’s hard work, sure, but it’s also a fun place to work. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Comfort with using and teaching all tools, policies, and procedures related to the Operations platform
- Conduct new hire training on all things related to GrubHub’s Operations
- Responsible for executing new & recurrent training programs and materials
- Responsible for the training and development of Operations staff
- Provide feedback to reduce errors and improve processes
- Conduct ongoing refresher and cross-training modules in critical areas
- Develop and execute a communications flow that enables cross functional teams to remain aligned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in a field related to adult education preferred, or equivalent work experience in adult education. Masters degree a plus.
- 3-5 years experience in a training role required
- Excellent one-on-one and group presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
- Experience working with Learning Management Systems
- Superb communication skills
