Neighborhoods.com and 55Places.com are seeking to add an interaction designer to help take our online national real estate sites to the next level.

Essential Qualifications:
  • 2-4 years of interactive design experience within an agency setting preferred.
  • Communication and presentation skills - You need to be able to collect requirements, present solutions, explain the 'why' behind decisions, and make a case for the user.
  • Knowledge and understanding of UX best practices; must be able to speak to UX principles.
  • Proficient with UI tools such as Sketch, Creative Suite, InVision, etc.
  • Some experience with wireframing tools such as Axure, Omnigraffle, etc.
  • Ability to design for and innovate across multiple breakpoints.
  • Basic knowledge of print design preferred.
  • Basic knowledge/understanding of CSS and html. This is not a development role, but an understanding of current technologies is highly desired
  • Most importantly, a passion for your work and a great sense of humor
What You'll be Doing:
  • This designer will work collaboratively with our amazing team consisting of principal stakeholders, designers, front and backend developers, social marketing strategists and content managers to provide our users with a great online experience, no matter the device.
  • In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of deliverables that include designing and refining our responsive web properties, internal products, social campaigns, email templates, print and branding work.
  • In addition to UI design, there will be opportunity to research, create wireframes, participate in usability and A/B testing.
