Neighborhoods.com and 55Places.com is seeking to add an interaction designer to help take our online national real estate sites to the next level. Neighborhoods.com understands that the neighborhood you live in is just as important as the home you live in. We are dedicated to helping home buyers find a neighborhood and home they will love. 55Places.com specializes in niche markets within the real estate community. Both sites are dedicated to developing highly customized experiences for our users that will help them to make one of the biggest decisions of their lives. Our ideal candidate has experience solving UI and UX challenges in a goal-oriented, data informed design environment. You design enjoyable experiences that users intuitively understand and have a clean design esthetic. This position will allow you to become apart of small and growing team with the opportunity to wear multiple hats and continually improve upon our 2 external facing web properties and 2 internal products.

Essential Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of designing and innovating for mobile devices.
• Proficient with UX and UI tools such as Creative Suite, InVision, Omnigraffle, etc.
• Responsive Web Design experience and an understanding of prevailing best practices.
• Working knowledge of print design preferred.
• Working knowledge/understanding of CSS, html and JavaScript. This is not a development role but an understanding of current technologies is highly desired.
• A passion for your work and a great sense of humor.

What You'll be doing:

• This designer will work collaboratively with our amazing team consisting of principal stakeholders, designers, front and backend developers, social marketing strategists and content managers to provide our users and clients with a great online experience no matter the device.
• In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of deliverables that include designing and refining our responsive web properties, internal products, social campaigns, email templates, print and branding work.
• In addition to UI design, there will be opportunity to wireframe, participate in usability testing and A/B testing to enhance the usability and conversion rate on our web properties.

Education and Experience:

• 1 - 3 years of interactive design experience within an agency setting preferred.
