 Hireology’s Vice President of Marketing will be responsible for developing the marketing and demand generation playbook to grow and expand Hireology’s brand within the marketplace, thus accelerating revenue growth and ensuring a high-performing revenue organization. This individual will also be  responsible for demand generation, product marketing, customer marketing, branding and messaging, business development, and marketing communication.  As a senior leader and part of Hireology’s leadership team, the VP of marketing shapes the go-to-market strategies and operational plans for our vertically focused SaaS product. The ideal candidate has a successful track record in a rapid-moving, high-growth organization and has experience scaling a Marketing function, preferable in a SaaS environment..

The ideal candidate must also have proven experience with driving growth through consistent and creative marketing efforts. He or she must have a work style and pace that owns results and creates wow moments, and does so with low ego, an eagerness to improve, and bias for initiating positive change through collaboration. 

Responsibilities:

  • Set marketing strategy to accomplish revenue growth goals.
  • Provide leadership in Hireology’s strategic and operational planning with marketing and messaging plans for product penetration and demand generation.
  • Create a results and metrics-oriented culture in Marketing to operate at a high level of productivity, engagement, and efficiency.
  • Create an integrated brand experience that tells a consistent, compelling story about the company, its product portfolio, and service.
  • Evaluate the Marketing function structure for scalability and plan for the individual professional and personal growth of the team.
  • Enhance focus on customer verticals, driving insights across the organization into product management, product development, sales, and customer success.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and shape the messaging that differentiates Hireology and capitalizes on sales and product opportunities.
  • Evolve Hireology’s identity to enhance industry, customer, and prospect awareness.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 5-10 years of experience as a senior marketing leader of a B2B or SMB marketing organization.
  • Bachelor’s Degree Required, MBA strongly preferred.
  • Experience marketing software products (preferably Cloud or SaaS delivery model).
  • Previous experience in an entrepreneurial, high growth company.
  • Proven track record of revenue growth through focused marketing efforts.
  • Strong analytical skills and financial acumen.
  • Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
