Sprout Social is looking for a Web Marketing Analyst to join our talented Marketing Team. The Web Marketing Analyst is responsible for creating, tracking, reporting and analyzing performance of Sprout Social’s testing efforts on multiple web properties. In conjunction with the rest of the Marketing Team, the Web Marketing Analyst, will develop insights and recommendations that will lead to the formulation of effective marketing strategies and tests.

Through our various marketing efforts, more than 16,000 brands around the world have come to use our software. Companies like Adobe, Pivotal Labs, Google, Marvel and Evernote rely on Sprout to create stronger relationships with their customers through social media.

Responsibilities

• Perform data analysis to drive website optimization and associated business decisions through detailed analysis of the online behavior of prospects and customers
• Create holistic dashboards by pulling data from different data sources and websites for channel owners and senior management team
• Develop, maintain and deliver weekly & monthly KPIs and ad hoc reports in agreed-upon timeframes
• Create A/B and Multivariate tests in optimization platform; work with Marketing Team to develop hypothesis, assess potential impact of testing initiatives, coordinate execution, and read test results
• Deliver data-driven insights that lead to increased web and mobile site conversions
• Assist with maintaining analytics tags and pixel implementation utilizing a Tag Management Solution
• Audit and test analytics of tag implementation to ensure proper tagging of all web properties
• Ensure the accuracy of the analytics implementation by validating the data collected

Desired Skills and Experience

• 3+ years working as a website analyst or direct marketer
• Experience in web analytics is required; Google Analytics & Salesforce experience a plus
• Experience working with large data sets, writing queries and structuring reports
• Outstanding written/verbal communication skills with experience distilling and presenting complex quantitative analysis; working knowledge of Tableau a plus
• Experience with testing platforms like Maxymiser, VWO and Optimizely a plus
• Understanding of web best practices and web conversion metrics
• Ability to work in a fast paced, highly collaborative environment
• Comfortable working expediently against quick turnaround times
• Comfortable writing executive summaries of data findings/recommendations
