RK Management Consultants, Inc. (RKMC), an international Minority & Women Owned Business headquartered in the Chicagoland area, is seeking talented and energetic Technology and Professional Services Staffing Business Development (BD) Managers. In this role, you will be a part of our collaborative, local, high energy team to drive sales for our comprehensive portfolio of staffing solutions and project services. We are positioned for even more growth in 2021 and we are looking for elite sales professionals to help us make it happen.  

What will you do as a BD Professional?

You will prospect to develop new business and client relationships to win staffing projects: temporary, contract, contract-to-hire, and direct-hire/permanent opportunities in the areas of Software Development, Project Management, Cybersecurity, Cloud Technologies and more.

Prospecting skills are a must. You must be comfortable with cold calling and frequent outreach to decision makers. In addition to phone/digital outreach, you will attend client meetings and social events, as well as leverage your network to deepen ties with organizational leaders, hiring managers, and c-suite executives while serving as a consultative business partner.

What type of skills and experience will make you successful as a BD Professional at RKMC?

  • Bachelor's Degree in sales, business or related field.
  • At least 3 years of previous B2B sales experience in a hunter role for a staffing or services Company.
  • Power prospecting skills – fearless about cold calling with proven techniques to keep an accurate and healthy pipeline.
  • Strong skills around negotiating realistic contractual and pricing terms.
  • Deep understanding of the Information Technology Industry and current trending topics.
  • Exceptional communication skills, polished professional image, upbeat personality & an obsessive desire to excel.

What skills you must have to be eligible?

  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in IT recruiting, staffing, and/or related business development or technology sales.
  • Documented success in achieving and/or exceeding quotas/targets.
  • Detailed, organized, and adaptable.
  • Economically motivated with high desire to grow professionally and financially.
