WHY BOX NEEDS YOU
Box is looking for a senior, user-centric product leader to help us grow and develop new and exciting product experiences across our Box ecosystem. We're passionate about reimagining the way people get work done and are developing exciting new ideas and products for the evolving hybrid work environment, aimed at modernizing how people can excel at their jobs and create amazing outcomes with their collaborators. As a Staff Product Manager on our Apps team, you'll define and launch new, innovative content experiences for millions of users. You'll also partner with other leaders across the Apps team to bring deeply integrated productivity solutions to market.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own the vision and strategy for how users find and organize content in Box
- Lead one of our primary web product teams to execute against our overall Box product strategy and partner with design, engineering, technical program management, and cross-functional partners
- Obsess over the user experience, evaluating each screen and click, to ensure we deliver outstanding experiences to our customers
- Define the success criteria for your products, measure each release's impact, and incorporate key findings into our future product plans
- Mentor other Product Managers, helping them build their product management craft
WHO YOU ARE
- You instinctively default to being a customer advocate first and know how to balance that with the business analytics/metrics that drive success
- Formally led large, cross-team dependent projects and have demonstrated success in balancing multiple priorities, complex problems, and a wide group of stakeholders
- You are comfortable doing both high-level strategy and execution: you are confident giving a presentation to the CEO and running a meeting with engineers, operations, and marketing
- You've been doing this for awhile (ideally 7+ years under your belt as a PM) at a leading consumer or enterprise software company
- Strong technical and business background, CS/MBA preferred
