JOB DUTIES:

For this role we are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Global Information Services Division.
Responsibilities include one or more of the following:
SOA Solution Designer is responsible for designing and implementing API solutions and strategy, and the API adoption process within the organization.
Candidate must be able to lead and guide a team on developing solutions that fully integrate and collaborate with existing IT systems to solve complex business solutions. Candidate should have a holistic view of enterprise solutions, taking into consideration operational costs, security, performance engineering, application development, and systems management.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage incoming demand requests and perform role as Solution Designer
• Accountable for creation of ROMs and Proposals
• Perform an active role in shaping overall product architecture
• Communicate and promote the adoption of standards and practices among the development teams
• Develop and maintain current and planned state architecture diagrams
• Collaborate with vendor product development teams and senior designers to develop requirements to influence new product features
• Ensure solution designs adhere to product architecture standards
• Lead product developers in resolution of difficult product design and development issues
• Collaborate with business partners on best practice A2A implementations that are mutually beneficial
BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
• 8+ Years of the Middleware Architecture Experience with at least 5 years of hands-on IBM-ESB Integration experience
• 4 year Information Technology degree, a closely related technical degree, or equivalent experience
• Experience with IBM ACE, Denodo, Java, XML, XSLT and XPath
• Deep knowledge and hands-on experience in API management platforms and API related activities: requirement analysis, solution architecture and design, resource-based API modeling, micro-services architecture
• Deep knowledge and hands-on experience in API security standards
• Knowledge about API design standards, patterns, and best practices
CANDIDATES WILL ALSO HAVE:
• Technical knowledge of software, servers, storage, network (load balancers and firewalls), risk and cloud domains
• Proven track record of acting as SME for API projects
• Knowledge and experience designing and implementing SOA and API Governance
• Strong communication, teamwork, analytical, and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem solving and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time as well as being a collaborative team member
• Able to manage own duties including setting priorities
• Familiar with company policies and procedures
• Experience in multiple IT disciplines is also beneficial. Good technical, communication and influential skill.
