Our Data & Analytics practices help companies make critical business decisions based on the insights hidden within their data. The Resource Manager works in partnership with the Data & Analytics practice leadership to ensure that the best team available is aligned to each project to meet the client needs. In parallel, the Resource Manager works closely with each member of the project team to ensure that project roles meet their development goals when possible.  This is a remote based position in US only.

What You’ll Do:

  • Identify and resource consultants to client projects, business development opportunities, thought leadership and internal initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Act as single point of contact for resource assignments.
  • Assist with managing and increasing utilization numbers on Data & Analytics team.
  • Manage and resolves resource booking conflicts.
  • Build, maintain, and communicate resource forecasts.
  • Manage overall hiring recommendations based on forecasted resource needs. Ensuring the right resources, with the right skillsets, are available at the right times.
  • Run weekly resource meeting and facilitate resourcing issues / conflict resolution with Sales and the appropriate practice leaders
  • Work with Practice Leaders and Project Managers to identify appropriate resource requirements for each account and project.
  • Maintain constant knowledge of current and upcoming projects and business development activities as they relate to resourcing.
  • Monitor day to day project activities and resourcing, identifying potential instances of underutilization and actively work with the Practice Leaders to address and solve those issues.
  • Arrange weekly meetings with Sales team to discuss all active projects and potential new business as well as to stay informed of potential issues such as resource and change control matters.
  • Receive, analyze, and report on weekly utilization to D&A Leadership team.
  • Alert Senior Management team of any potential concerns or issues with meeting key client deliverables due to resourcing.
  • Recommend process improvements for Resource Management.
  • Work to resolve any issues regarding under or over allocations of current staff members.
  • Collaborate effectively with other practices to deploy consultants in a manner that optimizes overall productivity and maximizes team utilization.
  • Engage with the practice leaders and other senior leaders to understand, plan for, and ultimately meet the resourcing demands of their pipeline.
  • Monitor and communicate current and near-term delivery capacity.
  • Maintain resource management data integrity within financial force.
  • Flag resourcing capability gaps to the senior leadership as an input to hiring.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 5+ years of project or program management experience
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office tools: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Salesforce, Financial Force
  • Experience building and maintaining relationships with cross-functional teams preferably within a Professional Services organization.
  • Experience leading data-driven projects working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams
  • Exceptional communication skills
