To keep that momentum going strong, we’re expanding our team of enthusiastic go-getters. We’re on the hunt for a Senior Software Engineer to help build a next level SaaS platform for Architects.

You will:

• Establish technical design and architecture for new and existing software products
• Coach junior engineers
• Review code and establish our coding best practices
• Develop and maintain frontend, backend, and database code for new and existing products
• Work with our product team to innovate and execute new projects to help grow our business
• Creatively design products from scratch
• Develop and build proprietary data analytics tools
• Continually build technical skillset and innovate our technical solutions
• Administer general IT functions as-needed

Key outcomes of the job:

• Collaborate with our team to implement engineering best practices
• Ownership of code review/code quality (unit testing)

Requirements

Required skills:

• React JS, Redux
• Node.js (Loopback 4, TypeORM)
• JavaScript, Typescript
• SQL (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.)
• AWS (working experience developing solutions using cloud services)
• Must be able to travel to Chicago for quarterly team meetings

Additionally, you might be a great fit if you have experience with:

• Frontend and backend web technologies for SaaS products
• Single page applications
• Strong sense of semantic HTML markup and responsive CSS development
• Application programming interface (both creating and implementing remote services)
• Automated Unit Testing for frontend and backend components
• Docker
• Git, Bitbucket
• Circle CI - Continuous Integration
• AWS Services, Kubernetes, Terraform
• Experience with the Material-UI framework a plus
• Experience with developing AI/ML solutions is a strong plus
• Experience with other frameworks (Angular, Vue, etc.) a plus
