Job Description
**We are currently looking for interns for our Summer (June-Aug) session. Each intern can expect to work 24-32 hrs/week during the 12-week program. Hours can be flexible throughout the week**
This role can sit in our offices in either Chicago or Buffalo Grove, Illinois both of which include flexible and hybrid work options. This can also be a remote work opportunity.

Successful Interns of our Content Management and Design (CMDS) Team should have a passion for software, technology, collaboration, and creative problem solving. The CMDS Intern will actively contribute to meaningful projects and work closely with a mentor and with senior leadership.
The CMDS Internship is a 12-week program that requires around 24-32 hours of work each week. Our program focuses on providing college undergraduates with an opportunity to experience working in a corporate software development and content creation environment. CMDS Interns will gain exposure to a wide range of activities and experiences useful for future potential careers in information technology, computer systems, accounting, and financial industries. Specific project work will vary depending upon the time of year and the most critical needs of Corptax at the time of the internship program.
Areas of focus:
Business Analyst:
- Assist with the project management duties related to software development and business process improvement projects.
- Working with a team of professionals, assist in gather and documenting requirements, test scenarios and process flows.
- Create, review and analyze data and reports to assist with business and process decisions (includes tracking test results, progress activity, etc.)
Process Improvement:
- Assist with non-code / low code automation (i.e. - alerts, workflows).
- Build documentation around testing, training and processes
Responsibilities:
- Personal Accountability
- Ensuring appropriate level of professionalism and ability to handle multiple tasks required in order to complete projects.
- Teaming Responsibilities:
- Working well with fellow interns and other teams within Corptax.
- Focusing on the success of other interns in addition to the success of yourself .
- Individual Responsibilities:
- Being self-motivated and capable of managing multiple priorities and tasks.
- Performing additional tasks as necessary.
Required Education and Experience
- Current undergraduate student at either a two year (Associate's degree) or 4 year (Bachelor's degree) accredited institution.
- Business Analyst, Project Management, Informatics, Information Systems, Business majors or similar focus
- Prior work experience and references.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Applications (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, etc.) and other software packages.
- Proficient with analytical tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, RPAs, Alteryx or ability to learn
- Experience working on project(s) to successful completion.
- Demonstrable initiative and drive for success.
- Strong oral and written communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well in teams
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
