WebCheckout has an exciting opening for a Support Technician to join the Customer Care Team. As part of the Customer Care Team, you will collaborate with customers and internal teams to provide application-level and system-level support by installing and upgrading the application; troubleshooting customer reported issues; escalating issues to development; running scripts; and updating internal documentation.
WebCheckout is a scheduling and inventory management software used by over 200 institutions worldwide, primarily in higher education and media companies. The application runs on a stand-alone dedicated Linux server (or virtual machine).
Core Responsibilities:
- Address and resolve customer reported issues in a timely manner
- Install, configure, and upgrade application
- Perform system administration for hosted instances
- Escalate bugs to development team
- Collaborate with Implementation team for new client on-boarding
Required Experience:
- Hands-on experience with Linux, OpenSource technologies, and cloud services
- Customer service experience, previous experience with ticketing system a plus
- Familiarity with web hosting or scripting experience preferred

- Hours: M-F, 9am - 5pm
