Job Description
An Account Manager is responsible for the onboarding, management, and growth of partners that are currently utilizing the services and products of GoHealth’s Virtual Marketing Organization (VMO). The Account Management Operations position will be responsible for the support of set-up and training of new partners on GoHealth products, customer service issues, and requests of existing partners, as well as maintaining or growing the current base of business clients. This position acts as a subject matter expert on the partner’s usability of the GoHealth product suite. The Account Management Operations position will regularly be called upon to assist with various technical and non-technical customer service related questions about GoHealth products. Through training, support, and service; the goal will be to increase customer retention, customer utilization of GoHealth products, and customer satisfaction. With a knack for sales and relationship building, and a skillset in operational excellence, the ideal Account Management Operations person could work cross-functionally to help grow the VMO and strive to become an Account Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Support the onboarding and implement new downline agency partners.
- Organize regular meetings with downline agencies to review status of implementation and operations, review programs results, and provide consistent follow up on open issues.
- Develop a deep understanding of the GoHealth product suite features and benefits, in order to service the needs of new and existing downline agencies.
- Work with internal analytics team to provide regular reporting to downline agencies.
- Prepare content and schedule participants for monthly call, to provide announcements and other updates to downline agency managers.
- Apply excellent customer service skills when assisting downline agency managers with account questions and/or issues.
- Travel to downline agencies to conduct or supervise trainings, provide support and implement sales strategies.
- Work with other departments within GoHealth to share client feedback on our tools and services.
- Provide ad hoc administrative support to senior Account Managers.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in Account Management, Operations or Customer Service
- Bachelor’s degree
- Ability to identify new opportunities and issues across a diverse customer base
- Experience in communicating with various levels of management
- Possesses strong problem solving and organizational skills
- Understands customer requirements and requests and uses discretion to execute accordingly
- Demonstrates an eagerness to assist clients, a positive personality and great phone presence
- Health insurance license strongly preferred
- Willingness to travel 10-15%
