What is a Sr. Cloud DevOps Engineer?
Arity is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our Analytics Infrastructure Engineering team. You’ll design, build and maintain backend cloud applications and services that power our data analytics and machine learning infrastructure. The role is a part of our robust Analytics organization and requires the ability to design, iterate, learn, and improve. You’ll work in a highly collaborative organization alongside cloud engineers, data scientists and data engineers with a high degree of autonomy. Expert generalists are encouraged to apply.
What will you do?
• Build, automate and deploy backend analytics and ML applications and services in cloud that power Arity’s data and machine learning infrastructure using a variety of tools.
• You’ll set the standard for best practices for cloud infrastructure engineering at Arity Analytics.
• You’ll work closely with the Analytics leadership team on key engineering initiatives.
• Collaborate heavily with our engineering and product teams to apply DevOps practices to help automate, iterate and scale ML model implementations.
What do you need?
• Highly proficient in deploying cloud resources using common Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Cloud Build.
• Expertise with proper Git flow. It’s key to our collaboration, along with proper reviews.
• You’re very comfortable with Linux, and can debug, design, and compile with speed.
• Strong experience and in-depth knowledge of foundational cloud computing and VPC/networking services for both AWS (EC2, S3, IAM) and GCP (Compute Engines, GCS, IAM)
• Familiarity of analytics and ML cloud services such as EMR, Glue, Athena and SageMaker in AWS and BigQuery, Dataproc, and VertexAI in GCP
• Understanding of open source Big Data platform tools and services, such as Apache Spark, Airflow and Python.

Compensation offered for this role is $96,700.00-$132,100.00 per year and is based on experience and qualifications.
