The Assistant Club Manager is responsible for partnering with department managers and leaders throughout the club to ensure the club operates to EBC's standards. During assigned shifts you'll be responsible for responding to members and team members concerns in a timely manner. It's vital that the Assistant Club Manager is visible in the club and proactive in ensuring the members experience our gold standard of hospitality.

Job Responsibilities:

    • Provides direct oversight and support of all club operations and departments, the member experience, and leading by example by providing quality customer service and member resolution in a timely. manner with precise and detailed follow-through, while ensuring staff consistently follows our expected high level of hospitality & integrity, helping our members live well.
    • Delivers a strong and consistent work ethic, treating our members, guests and employees with fairness, integrity, respect, and ongoing support.
    • Ensures the interior and exterior of the Club provide a clean, safe, sanitary, and enjoyable environment at all times, and addressing or reporting needs for improvement with a sense of urgency.
    • Strong communication with members, guests, department managers and the executive team on all matters, which may include investigations, reporting, and follow up.
    • First responder for all Club emergencies and must be able to handle conflict, confrontation, and extreme situations in a calm and professional manner.
    • Must be knowledgeable of all and enforce various Club and departmental policies while being empowered to handle situations on a case-by-case exception basis.

Shift flexibility required, must be able to open and close(4:45am to 11pm) as well as work weekends!

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Experience with working in a luxury, upscale environment with strong hospitality focus preferred.
  • Previous hospitality experience required, minimum of 2 years preferred.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership ability, ability to build a strong & productive team environment
  • Ability to multitask, may need to fill in as needed.
  • Strategic thinker; ability to analyze and solve issues quickly.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities, works well under pressure, and is able to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Exceptional organizational, written and oral communication skills. Must have the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • CPR/AED/First Aid Certification (will provide training)
