Summary
The Associate Manager of Field Engagement & Listening is responsible for managing tools, workflows, measurement & listening reports. The person in this role will be the primary contact for corporate digital marketing teams and hotel colleagues. They will also help to troubleshoot issues and requests with social media tools, reporting, and maintaining resource documents. The Associate Manager will provide tool enhancements, trainings, and reports as a SME for Social Listening, Competitive Benchmarking, Social Care, UGC, and Display (Data Visualizations).
The Associate Manager will also support Field Marketing, Regional, and Corporate teams as needed, as well as priority initiatives for hotel properties worldwide. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, enjoys problem solving, and is a quick learner.
The primary job responsibilities are:
Develop partnerships with multiple internal teams by using technology, reporting, and workflows.

  • Provide support for crisis management best practices, advising hotels and GCC of protocol, and partnering with Communications, Legal, and/or HR (includes on call weekend support)
  • Sprinklr day-to-day contact on behalf of the brands for Social Listening, Benchmarking and Display products
  • Utilize Sprinklr for related tasks to continuously adapt the tool and meet brand partner needs.
  • Support creation of Sprinklr product enhancement requests, bugs, and engineering issues - help troubleshoot when appropriate.
  • Complete Sprinklr tasks and reporting requests across all team stakeholders as requested by Manager.
  • Create Social Listening and Competitive reports for GCC, Communications, and Corporate teams and interpret the data and story-tell in a way that will shape business insights.
  • Support & understand the value of User Generated Content to help the initiatives of internal teams.
  • Assist with related ad hoc social media projects.
  • Be an advocate of the Social Media Team, engaging in dialogues and answering questions for our field-level colleagues.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of between 2-3 years of experience, ideally with experience in a client focused global social media role.
  • Understanding of (and passion for) brands, emerging platforms & digital trends is essential.
  • Undergraduate degree in a related field (such as marketing or technology).
  • Must be analytical and able to create reports and interpret data in efforts to story tell meaningful insights.
  • Must be highly competent technologically and has a deep willingness to continuously learn new social media tool capabilities.
  • Social media tool experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Must be able be passionate and keep up to date in the field/ space.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Word. Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with internal client management, project management, and passion for delivering with excellence.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects at once.
