What You'll Bring

5 plus years of relevant professional experience, preferably in a corporate or agency setting

Exceptional communication skills, including ability to write and edit compelling content with a great attention to detail

Expertise in corporate communication programs and channels, with a track record of success developing, executing and measuring strategic communication 

A positive attitude and the ability to form collaborative working relationships with team members

Strong resource management, prioritization and organizational skills

Flexibility and ability to gracefully navigate ambiguity, deadline pressure and conflicting requests 

Self-motivated with a talent for working entrepreneurially in a virtual global environment

Prior successful experience working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with competing objectives

Bachelor’s degree

Nice to Haves:

Intranet and email production experience

Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese

Impact You'll Make

We’re looking for a great communicator to join TransUnion as a Senior Consultant, Social Impact Communications on our Corporate Communications team. Social Impact includes not only the culture and experiences we create for our own people, but the impact our products and services have on all people, and our ability to influence by educating and giving in ways that impact others around the world.

This person will help tell the story both internally and externally of the total impact TransUnion has on society. The ideal candidate will possess versatile communications skills – including strong written and verbal communication – and the ability to develop a variety of communication deliverables, working with cross-functional teams within TransUnion and outside agencies.

This person will produce communications designed to educate and inform on TransUnion’s social impact activities, including DE&I, sustainability and community relations. This person will also support the execution of our community relations program as we evolve and expand our service mission, partnerships and programming to elevate our communities.

This person will work with colleagues from various departments across TransUnion to support communication projects. Key relationships include colleagues representing our Sustainability Office, Human Resources, Racial Equity Task Force, Networking Resource Groups, Brand, Internal Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Design, Social Media and more.
