The Opportunity: As a Digital Content Specialist you will play a key role in driving new visitors to Vivid Seats, creating blog posts on timely and relevant topics, optimizing other pages and driving more visitors to Vivid Seats. You'll dive in to boost organic traffic growth by creating relevant content that aims to cement Vivid Seats as the authoritative leader in the ticketing space while increasing our visibility in SERPs by implementing SEO best practices. You'll work internally and externally while working on long-term content pieces that introduce Vivid Seats to new audiences by earning media and growing the Vivid Seats brand.
How your role contributes to the success of Vivid Seats:
- You'll help introduce live events fans to Vivid Seats through creative content and sound SEO practice
- Write new copy and optimize existing copy on Vivid Seats pages
- Contribute to the Vivid Seats blog
- Uncover new opportunities to drive traffic to Vivid Seats, with on page and off-page efforts
- Collaborate with other departments to explore and execute content projects that benefit Vivid Seats as a whole
- Build new templates for future pages
- Implement HTML best practices with an SEO focus
- Organize, analyze and leverage data for all content creation
- Execute external outreach as needed
How your role expectations will progress as a Digital Content Specialist I in the first 30, 90, and 180 days:
30 days in
- Complete new hire orientation, gaining the resources you need to be successful.
- Learn how ticket marketplaces operate and how you'll contribute to providing great experiences for our customers.
- Acclimate to team and company norms, business objectives, and Vivid Seats values.
- Get accustomed to the tools we use: Google Analytics, Google Search Console, AHREFs et al
90 days in
- Contribute to our approaches, methods, or technologies to support overall business goals and drive team efficiencies.
- Maintain, harvest and aid internal and external relationships to achieve progress and advance objectives.
- Master all internal tools; suggest any additional tools we might need
- Demonstrate ways to improve existing pages to drive additional traffic and improve rankings
- Become comfortable conducting external communications and outreach
180 days in
- Apply methods to execute individual tasks that positively impacts the team.
- Play an active role in continued learnings to advance skill sets necessary for team goals.
- Informed by data, proactively suggest areas of opportunity for new content
- Be able to execute new pieces of content, leveraging the necessary resources
What You'll Bring:
- Strong writing skills
- An understanding of SEO and popular SEO tools
- Superb communication and ability to build relationships internally and externally
- A general understanding of the sports, music and theater world
- Ability to think and work quickly in response to news and current events
- Ability to balance daily tasks with longer term projects
- Ability to discern trends and storylines in pop culture
- Familiarity with collecting, sorting and analyzing data in Excel
- An understanding of HTML and HTML markup language
