Digital Experience & Content Specialist Purpose:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build, maintain, and optimize user-friendly web experiences.
Advocate for the evolving digital user through a continuous focus on the digital user experience
Who we are looking for:
We are seeking a passionate, hands on, digital savvy web experience and content specialist to join a high-energy, faced paced, growing team.This role sits at the intersection of marketing, brand and user experience and is responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the content strategy on MotorolaSolutions.com is driving best-in class engagement and marketing/sales leads. As a connector across multiple functions and teams, you will drive, influence and bring together web content strategies, digital design, seo & analytics best practices into cohesive and high performing web pages and experiences. Success in this role means you lean into a matrixed culture, thrive in a collaborative environment and are comfortable bringing together multiple points of view.
What you will be responsible for:
The Digital Experience & Content specialist will collaborate with various global internal stakeholders and external partners to orchestrate thoughtful digital experiences that drive brand awareness, accelerate purchase decisions, improve customer loyalty and satisfaction and drive sales.
Perform website maintenance, content management, project management and web production activities (experience with CMS systems, specifically Adobe Experience Manager as well as SEO best practices and tools a plus)
Lead web content planning, coordination, authoring, reviews, approvals and launch publishing activities for key areas of focus & responsibility.
Ensuring design system principles and editorial standards and guidelines are met across MSI web properties.
Solicit, review, and evaluate requests from internal customers.
Project manage mid-size product launches and projects as it pertains to the web.
Drives workback schedules, weekly check-in meetings, coordination between brand, design and marketing teams and drives all status and progress communications with colleagues and stakeholders.
Ensure copy and graphics follow Motorola’s digital and brand design system guidelines.
Qualifications/Specific Knowledge/Skills
Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications or related degree is highly desired. MBA is a plus.
2+ years experience managing web projects.
Excellent project management skills and proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
Knowledge of content management systems, Adobe Experience Manager experience a plus.
Basic understanding of web, design and image assets (e.g., etc., .png, .jpg, .svg)
Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop
Excellent copy editing and fact-checking skills.
Excellent analytical skills with experience turning data into actionable insights.
Knowledge of search experience optimization reports, best practices, and tools
A plus if you have familiarity with:
Experience executing digital programs around consumer/customer behavior, sales funnel, and market lifecycle concepts
Understanding of web UAT testing, responsive design and browser compatibility testing.
Working knowledge of online analytics tools to pull web reporting and interpret the data to support digital content discussions with key business partners.
Digital product management
Versed in techniques and approaches using HTML, CSS design, cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility, responsive design
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology a plus
