About the Job

Reporting to the leader of the Content Marketing and Strategy team, the selected candidate will oversee review and editorial needs for content published on website of global leader in data measurement and analysis solutions. Ensure brand voice, accurate content, and consistent grammar/style throughout hybrid B2B/B2C web environment with emphasis on producing short- and medium-length insights articles. 

We are seeking an experienced Editorial Manager to oversee the review and publication of website content and insights to align with our brand voice and messaging, promote our strategic priorities, and ensure content is clear, engaging, as well as grammatically correct and consistent. In this role you will report to the Sr. Director, Global Content, Editor-in-chief and coordinate initiatives to improve the discoverability, readability, and efficacy of content for a leading global data intelligence company. 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee content governance program for global website, defining and updating processes to ensure the timely review, revision, and publication of insights content
  • Provide developmental editing and copyediting for submitted insights content, working with relevant stakeholders to ensure content aligns with brand voice, site strategy, and appropriate grammatical style. 
  • Collaborate with design, development, and production teams to ensure appropriate implementation and publication of content assets on website.
  • Work with digital marketing and audience development to incorporate SEO best practices across website content and metadata 
  • Orchestrate projects related to content marketing program, such as content migration, quality assurance checks, metadata review/updates, and more.

About you

You possess a great attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent style, tone, grammar across various content formats. You have the ability to develop a narrative that tells a compelling story, helping others to bring the pieces together themselves. In addition to your exceptional written and verbal communication skills, you have excellent organizational skills and understand how to conceive, implement, and execute processes that are clear and effective. You are tech-savvy and excited to adopt new technologies and rely on project management and group-work tools to get the job done. 

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years experience in editorial role for content producer with experience in managing editorial calendar, freelancers, and overall quality
  • Bachelor's Degree in English, Journalism, writing, or liberal arts; Master’s degree a plus.
  • Examples that show off your communication, writing, and project management skills. 
  • A strong understanding of brand voice, tone, and defining a clear perspective within written and multimedia content. 
  • Familiarity with SEO and digital marketing best practices. 
  • Experience with web analytic tools or an ability to incorporate new tools into regular use.
  • Strong copyediting and proofreading skills

Skills

  • Hard skills: Editing, writing, web publishing, project management. 
  • Plus skills: Marketing automation, graphic design, experience with consumer goods/FMCG (retail/manufacturing) 
  • Preferred software skills: MS Office Suite, WordPress, Trello, Google analytics
  • Plus software skills: CRM/software tools, HTML, Campaign Management (Pardot, Marketo), SEMRush, Brightedge, Sprinklr, Data Management Platform
  • Familiarity with AP (preferred) and/or CMoS
