Overview
As part of Home Chef's Marketing team, this role will have the opportunity to increase Home Chef's consumer awareness, engagement, and brand presence on a variety of social media channels through the support and development of creative content. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in creating compelling video content for both organic and paid social media platforms. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through video, possess strong conceptual and technical skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Video Creation:

• Collaborate with the social media team to develop innovative video concepts and ideas that align with our brand identity and marketing objectives
• Help create shot lists, storyboard, shoot and direct short-form original content
• Utilize Adobe Premiere Pro + After Effects editing software to edit high-quality videos that engage our target audience across various social media channels
• Optimize videos for different social media platforms by adhering to their specific formatting and duration requirements
• Actively seek feedback from team members and incorporate suggestions to improve the quality and effectiveness of video content

Social Channel Research:

• Understand social media user trends and preferences and ensure Home Chef's social media presence resonates with consumers
• Document video content-related processes and guidance for future reference

Content Creation Brainstorms

• Using the social media research, actively participate in standing bi-weekly and monthly digital content brainstorms led by Home Chef's brand strategy and creative teams
• Use Home Chef priorities and insights from previous campaigns to develop videos that align with Home Chef's goals

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in -OR- completed a four year degree program at an accredited college or university
• Proficient in video shooting, editing, and production techniques, with experience using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro + Adobe After Effects, or similar
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and communicate ideas
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and timelines while maintaining a positive attitude and meeting deadlines
• A portfolio showcasing previous video projects or relevant work samples is highly desirable

Salary Range: $20.00 p/h
