Licensing Advocate
We’re seeking a talented Licensing Advocate who will function as a primary point of contact for new agents joining the GoHealth Sales Teams as they move through the process of on-boarding and becoming ready to sell. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with on-boarding and administrative tasks for new agents with regard to their resident and non-resident licenses, carrier appointments and carrier certifications. This position requires a service oriented mindset, high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to efficiently and accurately execute a complex and multi-step submission and tracking process in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Provides a superior level of customer service to incoming agents joining GoHealth. This position will require daily interaction with agents and their managers
- Discretion and adherence to privacy and confidentiality policies
- Updates systems and databases with a high degree of accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Troubleshoots technology issues related to license status that impact an agent’s ability to sell
- Assists agents with completing forms for licensing, appointments and re-certification; gathers documentation and transmits securely and discreetly
- Obtains and notarizes affidavits and other state licensing documentation
- Collaborates with agents and program leaders in the certification process for State Based Marketplaces, FFM and Medicare Certifications
- Supports new agents through carrier required training during onboarding and for annual re-certification activities
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- 1+ years call center or insurance licensing experience
- Polished and professional written and verbal communication skills
- Detail oriented, organized and a self-motivated continuous learner
- Proficient with MS Office applications (Microsoft Word and Excel in particular)
- Ability to manage personal information with a high degree of discretion and sensitivity
- Licensing experience is desirable; experience with data/working with databases is a plus
- Experience with manual fingerprinting and eligibility to become a notary are also a plus
