Cloud Hosting - Service Delivery Manager

We are currently looking ADD a Cloud Hosting SDM to our company.
The Cloud Hosting Service Delivery Manager is responsible for ensuring Cloud hosting platforms needs (server, storage, network, etc) are architected and led by our suppliers for reliable, scalable, and performance based operations throughout our Global hosting footprint (private cloud, AWS, and Azure).
The Cloud Hosting Service Delivery Manager is responsible for understanding industry standards and standard methodologies to ensure modern infrastructure uptime and performance. They’re also responsible for keeping current with industry trends and emerging technologies across the entire hosting infrastructure stack. They will be able to provide recommendations to our suppliers on architecture and operational areas of improvement, support and develop automation and self-service capabilities for cloud deployments, lead and maintain governance needs. There will be a heavy dependency on implementing operational excellence, identifying areas of improvement, and exercising cost savings via optimization. This resource will also be responsible for ITSM Management: Change, Incident, Major-incident, Problem, and Capacity Management.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to:
• Cloud Management Platform Owner: design and implement orchestration platform, cloud integration, and user interface
• Design service fulfillment cloud automation use cases through process and API orchestration
• Lead cloud automation project developers
• Work well with internal and external technical leaders to develop innovative solutions that meet the needs of our global application support teams with respect to availability, functionality, performance, reliability, repeatability, and scalability.
• You will Ensure 24/7 operation availability of our Cloud hosting platforms to all areas of the world, both public and private.
• You will Articulate and mediate trade-offs related to scalability, manageability, testability, security, maintainability, usability, functionality, cost, and time. Establishes criteria for measuring these items in development and production as they relate to infrastructure components.
• Introduce new technologies that help reduce cost while improving time to deliver
• Deliver and support designs that meet business requirements and the needs of our corporate and restaurant application support teams.
• Participate in development of architectural strategy, including technology standardization, modernization, and automation
• Lead and insure ITIL standards are being followed for all ITSM related processes (Change, Incident, Major-incident, Problem, Capacity, Asset, and Infrastructure Lifecycle Management)
• Develop and support multi-year capability, technology, cloud, and service operations road maps
• Develop process design standards and guidelines that provide governance and agility for our users, and mentor other SDMs and engineers on standard methodologies
• Continually monitor and engage with internal and external consumers of our shared technology foundations
• Align operational strategy with business objectives and architectural principles
• Significant focus on leading and improving operational processes to continually improve operational excellence with our strategic suppliers
• Communicates well with team members to earn trust, persuade, motivate, and mentor others
• Multitask multiple projects simultaneously in a high-pressured environment
• The environment is a 24x7x365 Global operations, out of hours work may be necessary
Minimum Requirements

Required skills:
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college is REQUIRED
• 5+ years of professional experience managing resources and services through an IT out-sourcer (ITO) / Managed Service Provider (MSP)
• 5+ years of professional experience with Compute, Storage, Network, Virtualization, and Cloud concepts
• 5+ years of professional experience with private and public cloud solutions and industry trends
• 5+ years of professional experience ITIL disciplines to improve operational excellence. (Any combination of the following will be sufficient: Incident, Problem, Change, Capacity, Release Mgmt)
• 1+ years of professional experience with AWS and/or Azure in any of the following areas; change or incident management, self-service capabilities, governance of solutions, exposure to demand and/or financial management
Desired skills:
• ITIL Foundation Certification a plus
• Coding or scripting experience
• Agile Software Development
• Good interpersonal, time management and prioritization skills
• Experience with automation and orchestration tools and concepts repeatable deployments
• Strong rapport and relationship building skills with both internal groups and external supplier’s
• Superb communication skills, both written and verbal with great attention to detail
• Conceptual and operational experience with VMware Virtualization suite a plus
• Familiarity with ServiceNow a plus
• Able to take a creative approach to situations and problem solving
