Mission

The team you lead will be responsible for corporate security and IT operations. As a Director, you'll be responsible for building the team, ensuring that the team is working together effectively, and meeting expectations for delivery. You'll use OKRs to make sure your team is aligned with broader organizational goals and that they know what is expected of them. You'll also be responsible for making sure team members individually feel satisfied with the work they are doing, that they feel challenged, and that they are growing.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee IT operations for both the remote and the on-location workforce
• Build and lead a team of IT staff
• Design and implement IT strategies
• Identify and eliminate internal security risks
• Analyze business requirements for IT needs and systems
• Work to increase staff satisfaction with IT
• Communicate within IT team and across departments as needed
• Assess the need for new equipment and software
• Evaluate IT operations with regard to established goals
• Prepare progress and budget reports for upper management
• Build and maintain relationships with outside vendors
• Manage company help desk

Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience working in IT operations
• 3+ years experience building and leading teams
• 2+ years experience managing internal security
• Demonstrated success managing a team to achieve goals and objectives
• Solid understanding of information technology management practices
• Certifications and continuing education preferred
• Sound understanding of computer systems, networks, security, telecommunications, databases and storage systems
• Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
• Ability to manage and prioritize tasks and projects
• Solid working knowledge of all relevant coding languages and security protocols
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
