Global TPRM Continuous Monitoring Advisor

Now, we’re adding to the team and seeking an Advisor for Global Third Party Risk Management Continuous Monitoring.
The Team’s Focus
TransUnion works with businesses and consumers to gather, analyze, and deliver critical information needed to build strong economies around the world. Protection of that information is critical to our customers and business. As an Advisor, you will be part of the Global Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) to help perform the continuous monitoring of TransUnion’s third parties.
How You’ll Contribute
- Automation: Introduce automation for existing TPRM processes. Develop in-house capabilities for automation of existing TPRM processes. Identify and/or elicit product enhancements from peers as it relates to vendor solutions or in-house capabilities. Assess, and curate multiple threat feeds to enable correlation of security events using available API capabilities across the TPRM toolsets to augment automation.
- Third Party Monitoring: Evaluate, analyze, and derive actionable threat intelligence from a variety of open source and commercial sources to deliverables quality deliverables to technical and executive audiences.
- Remediation: Work with Business Partners and Relationship Managers to remediate identified risks to reduce the inherent risk to TransUnion. You will also be responsible for monitoring the remediation of Third Party risks as well.
- Collaboration: Build relationships cross functionally and globally with risk stewards, internal stakeholders, and third parties. Promote a risk-aware culture, with effective risk and compliance management practices.
- Process Improvement: Support projects that help improve the Continuous Monitoring process and support our overall Third Party Risk Management strategy.
What We Expect
· You will support the Third Party Risk Management execution of continuous monitoring.
· You will communicate with TransUnion business and technology leaders.
What you’ll bring:
As an Advisor, you should have 3 – 5 years of information technology experience, preferably with Information Security responsibilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, management systems or related field
- Familiarity with current information security technologies and past experience in multiple of the following domain areas: Identity and Access Management, Application Security, Infrastructure Security, System & Data Security, Physical and Environmental Security, Business Continuity/Disaster Recover, and Regulatory/Standard Compliance.
- Familiarity with industry frameworks and standards such as SSAE16, PCI, and ISO 27001/27002
- Information Security (CISSP, CISA, Security +, GSEC) certification preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint and Excel) and Microsoft Project
- Ability to leverage OSINT and an emerging threat landscape to describe and anticipate actions against of third parties.
- Comprehensive understanding of an adversaries’ capabilities, technologies, motivations and targeting profiles.
- Proficiency in a scripting language a plus
- Previous experience implementing APIs a plus.
