POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Relationship Specialist is responsible for supporting assigned Advisors and Broker Dealers as well as associated individual clients with Millennium Trust accounts while ensuring the highest quality of service. These clients will have given a degree of authority to their advisor to manage their investments in their Millennium account(s). The primary responsibility of this role is to work directly with assigned contacts to develop and maintain positive relationships through telephone and email communication. The incumbent is also responsible for training new employees and acting as a primary resource for them. Other responsibilities include interacting with all necessary internal departments to on-board new relationships, answer inquiries related to assigned accounts and address client requests. This position is instrumental in growing and maintaining Advisor/BD client relationships for Millennium Trust.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Serve as a dedicated point of contact for assigned Advisor/BDs and associated individual clients
- Support and guide advisors and clients through Onboarding, account opening, the investment process, and ongoing activities
- Answers client inquiries regarding Millennium Trust products, services and fees in a timely and accurate manner
- Manage incoming and outgoing communications including phone queues and emails
- Manage and handle all resolution cases from across the firm for the assigned relationships as well as their client base.
- Review and resolve complex customer requests
- Hold intimate knowledge of IRA functions and Internal Revenue Service Code including prohibited transactions and complex investment scenarios
- Share information gathered from conversations with clients with the Client Success Partner to provide insight into relationships and help drive future product enhancements
- Train and act as a primary resource for the team
- Work cross-functionally with various departments within the business to maximize service
- Suggest and implement improvements to internal processes
- Manage special projects
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Communications preferred
- CISP certification recommended
- 3 - 5 years of applicable experience
- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of demonstrating:
- Strong relationship and communication skills, applied to both internal and external clients
- Possess a high level of knowledge with regard to IRAs and applicable IRS code including an understanding of prohibited transactions and complex investment scenarios
- Ability to solve complex issues, both independently and in a collaborative team environment
- Ability to maintain the highest quality of service and professionalism
- Excellent analytical skills with a proactive nature
- Strong organization skills with a drive to meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- An aptitude for prioritization and multi-tasking
- A drive to learn and apply new concepts quickly
- Experience with Salesforce CRM preferred
- Experience in relationship management within the Financial Services industry preferred
