Requirements – What we’d love to see:
• Core technologies required
o Windows Server Clustering Services
o Windows SCCM/SCOM Experience preferred
o Windows 2012/2016 OS support, troubleshooting and performance analysis
o Ability to support and maintain VMware clusters based on supplied standards
o VMware ESXi support, troubleshooting, and performance analysis
• 5+ years of progressive Windows Administration experience
Preferred requirements – What we’d like to see:
• Bachelor’s Degree in any Computer Science field preferred
Impact you’ll make:
As a Systems Engineer, you’ll need to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, with occasionally conflicting priorities. A member of the Windows Server Administration team contributes in the following key areas:
• Provide support and expert analysis of production VMware hosts, guests, and associated virtual devices
• Provide advanced knowledge as it pertains to cases where advanced troubleshooting is required
• Work with engineering teams to test and proof new versions and/or update levels for the purposes of updating reference architecture
• Work with external teams to maintain organizational standards
• Provide 2nd tier on-call support for production issues
• Assist with incident and request ticket remediation. Communicate and escalate according to accepted practices and standards
