ABOUT THE ROLE
The ShopRunner Analytics team drives insights in every aspect of our business including marketing, product, and partner relationships. The Jr Looker Developer will be part of the ShopRunner Analytics team doing Looker development, data QA, and ad hoc analytics requests. This person will work directly with business stakeholders, develop LookML, and provide reliable analysis.
ABOUT WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Work across all teams to understand their reporting/data needs and build scalable solutions to answer business question
- Use Looker and LookML to create both data models and data visualization
- Use SQL to analyze/QA/investigate large datasets
- Adhere to our analytics best practices (including code reviews, testing, and documentation)
- Work closely with the Data Platform product and engineering teams on any data quality issues. Identify data issues with supporting documentation
- Ad Hoc analysis as needed to support internal/external requests
ABOUT WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- At least two years of relevant work experience in an analytics-related role
- Experience with one or more BI tools: Looker, Qlik, Tableau, Power BI, etc
- Familiarity with BI concepts (data modeling, data visualization)
- Familiarity with SQL/Snowflake/DBeaver etc
- Familiarity with data warehouse concepts
- Familiarity with ETL creation and testing
- Excited about the opportunities in a startup and unfazed by the ambiguity and fast-paced culture that come with it
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Skilled at cross-team collaboration and multi-tasking
- You welcome peer reviews and incorporating feedback
- Bachelors in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
