The Construction Budget Review Analyst will report directly to the VP of Construction Operations or the Regional Director of Construction Ops as assigned by the VP of Construction Ops. BRAs are responsible for the day to day evaluation of completed assessments. Specifically, eliminating inconsistencies, validating pricing, collecting/confirming specialist reports and pricing before submitting completed Budgets to our Clients.
Responsibilities
The responsibility of the Construction Budget Review Analyst are as follows, but not limited to:

  • Using SMS Assist proprietary software to review each scope for accuracy, precision and clarity.
  • Work in partnership with the Director of Procurement to manage a national price list. Including editing and/or creating new line items, obtaining vendor quotes and communicating vendor compliance.
  • Maintain SLA for reviewing, editing and submitting budgets.
  • Support the Regional Directors and/or Area Construction Managers to communicate scopes of work to Clients, Vendors or internal SMS Assist stakeholders.
  • Review/edit scopes to ensure compliance with national and local purchasing programs.
  • Review/edit scopes to ensure compliance with national and local codes.
  • Collect, review and incorporate specialty inspections into the scope of work.
  • Ensure that all scopes meet Home Condition Standards prior to submission.
  • Travel requirements: Outside region travel expected: less than [10%] of the time
  • Ensure confidentiality of internal and external data
  • Perform ad-hoc projects and other duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • Basic Home Maintenance knowledge
  • Computer Skills: Advanced proficiencies in: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook required
  • System Experience: Advanced Excel required
  • Excellent organizational skills;
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Traits: attention to detail, ability to work under pressure
  • Organized with an ability to multi-task.
  • Self-driven with minimal supervision. You have no problem leading yourself to reach all of your KPI's.
  • A Collaborative worker. You work well with others.
  • Four-year Construction Science/Engineering degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in engineering, project management or construction management preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of maintenance/construction terms and pricing.
  • Valid driver's license, valid auto insurance and transportation.
  • [3] years of experience in Construction field
