Data Analyst (Omni Team)
Job Description
The Data Analyst plays a strategically important role for NielsenIQ’s Omni Sales Team as a key resource during high-value sales campaigns. You will work in conjunction with sales associates to sell solutions within the functional areas of the Omni Team including Omnisales, Omnishopper, Spectra, and TDLinx.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Independently complete analyses using Nielsen’s proprietary tools to develop insights that drive client outcomes
Clearly and convincingly articulate Omni offering methodologies and value proposition to clients
Ability to understand/explain the value of NielsenIQ’s approach (versus other companies)
Contribute customizing proposals and presentations that clearly communicate why the solution is right for specific clients based on their business needs
Create customized analyses to aid in the sales pitch to demonstrate strength of data and how it is incorporated with other NIQ assets, including presenting this material to clients
Demonstrate the NIQ solution to clients in a live environment
Create sample analyses using concrete business benefits
Liaise between sales, product management, solution architecture and operations on the scope and style of demos, commercial packages, and proposed implementation engagements
Manage deep dive methodology meetings with client teams
Qualifications
1-2 years’ experience
Consumer Packaged Goods or Retail industry experience preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Passion for learning and applying new technologies to business solutions
Proven problem-solving skills using deductive reasoning, logic, problem solving and critical thinking
Demonstrated experience in data analysis and application to client business issues
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to multi-task and successfully manage projects independently
Demonstrated project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Experience working with NielsenIQ consumer panel data or competitive panel data assets and tools
Able to work collaboratively with internal & external teams
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree required
