Data Analyst

At Vibes, Data is part of our engineering team, and our data analysts work directly with our engineers to deliver insights, predictions, and recommendations both via our platform and to leaders across the company.   

You are an experienced Data Analyst with proven results who is passionate about having a big impact at a growth stage company. You are excited about working closely with internal and external stakeholders to understand problems, dig into data, and use that data to tell stories that provide insights to customers both directly in client calls and requests, and indirectly by building reports in our platform.  

This position will report to the Senior Director, Data & Analytics.   

Responsibilities: 

• Create reports and visualizations in the Vibes platform that a) show customers the value they realize from our platform and b) make data driven decisions about their campaigns 

• Work directly with customers to understand the data they have available that should be in our platform as well as their needs to explore and extract data from the platform, all with the goal of enabling customers to see the value of their mobile audience and programs 
• Understand internal data needs of the business from Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Success, and create visualizations and reports that show insights, tell stories, and enable leadership to quickly make data-driven decisions  
• Assist with data collection, reporting and analysis of client metrics  

 Requirements & Qualifications:  

• Bachelor’s Degree in technical or related discipline preferred; 
• 1-3 years of experience in a data analytics role  
• Fundamental knowledge of Machine Learning/AI  

• Familiar with Google Analytics, Adobe Omniture, and/or other web analytics tools 
• Experienced in SQL, R, Python  
• Skilled at presenting information, key findings, and business insights to both internal and external audiences 
• Ability to develop strong relationships throughout the organization 
• Extraordinary team player, ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, entrepreneurial environment where quality, innovation, speed of decision making, and execution are critical to organizational success 

• Demonstrated experience in quantitative analysis and ability to tell a story with results 
• Previous product management or development experience in an Agile development environment and SaaS industry experience are a plus 
• Experience with online (web, eCommerce) retail market data collection & analysis a plus
