Data Architect: RXBAR is one of the fastest growing natural brands in the country and this explosive growth requires RXBAR to utilize data as a point of differentiation vs competition to continue to accelerate our growth. We believe that this role will be a critical component to setup RXBAR for long-term success.
The Data Architect will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing RXBAR's data infrastructure, which through cross-functional collaboration will enable the organization to more effectively make data-driven business decisions.

General Functions + Responsibilities:
- Build, develop and lead a team
- Establish a vision for hiring needs to support the execution and management of RXBAR’s data architecture
- Design an internal team comprised of key cross-functional stakeholders to deliver a best-in-class data architecture
- Source and manage third party support
- Design, deploy, and manage RXBAR’s data infrastructure
- Collaborate with cross-functional team leads to build RXBAR’s data strategy, and manage the evolution of that strategy to satisfy changing needs of the business
- Own the vision for RXBAR’s data strategy of how data will flow through the organization via an iterative approach, flexing short-term needs with evolving long-term objectives
- Create, enforce, and own RXBAR's Data Governance policies to ensure the accuracy and protection of our data
- Determine, implement, and manage structural database and ETL requirements
- Identify, evaluate, and improve current data management technologies
- Manage the design and development of complex ETL and BI implementations
- Lead the development and implementation of data collection systems
- Implement measures to ensure data accuracy and accessibility
Skills & Qualifications:
- 3-5 years’ experience as a Data Architect, Data Engineer, Database Administrators or a similar discipline
- Graduate degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or a related field is preferred
- Successful background as an architect on either an Enterprise Data Warehouse or EIM Team
- Track record of successful architecting and implementing small, medium and enterprise scale solutions
- Ability and willingness to flex between big picture vision setting with cross-functional collaboration and tactical technical execution
- Knowledge of data warehouse principles and methodologies and knowledge of database modeling techniques (star, snowflake, 3NF, etc.)
- Knowledge of cloud tools involving Azure, AWS and Google Cloud
- Experience and knowledge of database, ETL and BI technologies
- Eagerness to learn new tools and technologies
- Experience building EIM and BI roadmaps to meet business needs
- Experience managing structured and unstructured data
- Experience with Syndicated data (ie. Neilson, SPINS, etc.)
- CPG experience is a plus
- Management experience preferred
