Let's define "Data Engineer" as we see it. You love to and are great at:

• Designing, building, and enhancing Data across Development, Test, QA, UAT/Staging, and Production environments.
• Managing and maintaining Databases across AWS environments; includes all aspects of managing and enhancing data/databases or data platforms.
• Designing and building a complete Business analytics dashboard for Reporting or action-based decision-making platforms.
• Ensuring smooth execution of all data integrations across different platforms, internal and external. Help document the environment.

What you bring to the team:

• Experience with Databases (SQL, No SQL, Document)
• Multiple years of experience building Data Models, Structures, and Data analytics with Dashboard using AWS Quicksight or similar tools.
• Experience working in the Agile Development Methodology; using tools like Jira is an added plus.
• Experience unit testing, debugging and documenting Data Models.
• Multiple years of knowledge in AWS Environment

AWS Specific:

• Hands-on experience using computer, networking, storage, and database AWS services.
• Experience with RDS Databases on Aurora/mySQL/PostgreSQL/DynamoDB is mandatory.
• Experience with API Gateway & AWS Lambda is mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with AWS deployment and management services
• Ability to identify and define technical requirements for an AWS-based application
• Ability to identify which AWS services meet a given technical requirement
• Knowledge of recommended best practices for building secure and reliable applications on the AWS platform
• An understanding of the basic architectural principles of building on the AWS Cloud
• An understanding of the AWS global infrastructure
