ABOUT THE ROLE 

ShopRunner’s data is the backbone of the organization, providing information relevant to finance, analytics, marketing, and ongoing product development efforts. This role will be responsible for ensuring any data quality related issues related to our brand integrations are identified and resolved in a timely manner. It will be necessary to work with a variety of teams within ShopRunner and prioritize their work appropriately.

WHAT YOU’LL DO  

  • Manage, track, and analyze issues regarding data quality and identify trends requiring preventative and corrective action.
  • Define processes around and manage work required by other teams, ensuring clear requirements and  prioritization
  • Develop quality metrics and monitoring methodologies in partnership with Analytics and Engineering teams
  • Communicate with partner’s business and technical teams on data best practices to ensure optimum data quality
  • Collaborate with Analytics and Engineering teams to keep data standards and requirements up to date
  • Provide operational insight, related to data quality considerations, to product team for future development of data related applications
  • Produce company wide metrics and executive metrics to promote the quality results, improvements, and gaps
  • Define criteria and methodologies for validating the data integration for a partner

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • 5+ years working with data in an e-commerce or similar environment - order and customer data
  • Experience with managing an internal quality projects and/or audits
  • Strong understanding of databases, spreadsheets, and general data transfer processes
  • Understanding of SQL and ability to write queries for investigative purposes
  • Prior experience prioritizing software engineering work, Jira experience a plus
  • Experience using Business Intelligence and data monitoring tools
  • Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong client-facing presentation skills
  • Strong time management and good communication skills 
  • Skilled at cross-team collaboration and multi-tasking
